The energy is moving. It is mysterious, ephemeral... invisible yet known to us by the shared feeling in the room, and by the audible "trace" that it leaves behind..... music!

This is a Voicepoint rehearsal, and we are in a "download" session using the Vistar Method of Communication to access the creativity of the Invisible Dimensions.. Excitement is tangible and the Vision is Stellar... Galactic! Voicepoint has begun work on a new production featuring the theme of Choice and Conscious Evolution. We turn again to a radical reliance on an invisible realm. While this reliance is a cornerstone of our work together, it is often challenging, and is shockingly new at every moment. Having decided to frame the opening with ancient words from the Rig-Veda ("Neither Non-Being, nor Being, was as yet...) and the teaching of contemporary Visionary Andrew Cohen ("We are ... that explosion in motion, one Radiant Being; Whole, Conscious, Undivided")... we begin.

A word or phrase is chosen, and seventeen people enter silence as a request for hearing beyond the realm of the senses. We are directed by the rehearsal leader to "sing what you hear", and although some of us are "musicians", often the "non-musicians" are quite receptive, less burdened with pre-conceptions. Each person has to sacrifice internally limiting pictures of self-identity. A hand is raised and at the leader's cue, an idea is presented. At this point, the experience intensifies. One of three things will happen; there may be no response throughout the group; or several people may respond and the idea may be heard again... worked with. The third response is extraordinary in every way - a wave of recognition surges through the group. Everyone present feels an instant "yes!" as a unified response. This collective field of responsiveness is the Ground of our Being Unified in the Truth of Oneness. This is the ultimate message and meaning we hope to convey in our work together.

Sometimes the ideas come slowly...evoking frustration and challenging us to remain buoyant; otherwise an onrush of inspiration calls for grounded-ness, over wild elation. We strive for the Higher Triad to resolve the opposites. We don't move on without a feeling of unity. Everything exists already in perfection in the unmanifest realm, and the inspiration for the music, movement, set and costumes is all "Downloaded" from that realm. The unified response is the recognition of the Truth of who we are; "Radiant, Whole, Conscious, Undivided!"

Voicepoint works in the True Spirit of Ensemble. Every aspect of production from content, scripting, composing music, choreography, lighting, staging, set and costume design, employs the Vistar Method of Communication. In each rehearsal there is a leadership and members of the ensemble input suggestions.

POINT OF REQUEST

Then there appears to be a phase of difficulty where nothing seems to be moving or acceptable. This is often followed by a general frustration, an intense pressure and feeling of deficiency and even hopelessness. This is no man’s land of ego burn-out. The temptation of the ego to doubt, to blame, to judge oneself and others, is at its strongest.
